I will make a quick summary. Once upon a time, the reason I posted on Facebook was to keep Reverend Dr. Mom and my family informed of my progress and life here in Germany. This went well. Crikey, even through the whole Trump Presidency, I really had no problem. There are many friends who doughnut post their daily stuff on Facebook. I really enjoy writing. Heck, I can type 160 words per minute and most of them are not flagged by the spell check, but I digress. To say that, I am jaded, insulted, a victim and just plain pissed off would be the most polite way that I could express my disdain for the entire Facebook platform. As long as I post stuff that is “Friede, Freude, Eierkuchen” (Happy Pancakes), there is no problem. Sorry folks, there is a problem.
I have never been a fan of Donald Trump. He is a boorish, egocentric and self-absorbed person. Be that as it may, he really has the chance to “make America Great again.” He might actually go down in history as one of the greatest Presidents. Jep, the FLOTUS showed her Taint to the entire world, but I have to say, she had more class than any First Lady since Jackie Kennedy. Do I digress? Nope. I will get to the point shortly.
My wife told me a few weeks ago, It appears that my account is under the microscope of the “robots” from Facebook. Why can I not be happy with what I have, a roof over my head, healthy from cancer (so far) and a family that loves me? Why do I need to preoccupy myself with all that is wrong in the world?
Sorry, if you are not outraged, you are not paying attention. The whole Brandon thing, the Laptop from Hell, The “Omnibus Bill”? I told her that if you are silent, you are being complicit. Jeepers. Who is going to suffer next? (That is a rhetorical question). Who will suffer are us normal folks. That would be the people working every day, paying the taxes, so the elites can go on their junkets to tell us how the world will end based on whatever “science” they are using as support for the cause that suits their needs to get richer at the expense of us “normal” folks. Maybe Bruce Springsteen can write a song about this. Nope. He has his money. The fecking idiot made millions complaining about the hard life his father had working in a factory to put a roof over his head. Crap. I digress once again. Sorry, I had a hard day trying to do the work of a young guy that I no longer am.
Why am I so Pissed off on Facebook? Shite, I am still banned from Twitter for posting the uncomfortable truths. Jep, I filed to get my ban lifted, but no joy.
But wait, there’s more. My most recent ban, in spite of trying to get things cleared up is for an answer to a post about the crisis at the American Southern Border. I wrote that if you are not coming through the front door, you can expect to be shot. NOT that you “should be shot” Jeepers.
Jep, it just goes on and on. Facebook and just about any other “Social Media” has nothing to do with the free exchange of ideas or factual information. As long as one posts something that fits with the current “News Speak,” there will be no problems. Crikey, we are living “1984”, and are progressing to “Animal Farm.” “You will own nothing, and be happy.” How about another renewal on your apps on your telephone?
